Experience and Practice
Tzippy is a licensed clinical social worker with ten years of experience. After graduating Touro Graduate School of Social Work in 2018, she practiced at Pesach Tikvah Door of Hope clinic in Brooklyn, and Serenity Psychotherapy, a group private practice. During these years Tzippy engaged in ongoing professional development by pursuing continued education. She also completed the Pesach Tikvah Training Institute, featured in magazines including Mishpacha and Ami, as well as the Flatbush and Five Towns Jewish Times newspapers. To expand the scope of her practice, Tzippy opened Connext Therapy in April 2024.
Every client’s experience in therapy is unique and the approaches used are personalized. Hallmark qualities of Tzippy'‘s practice are warmth and openness within a collaborative and nonjudgmental environment. When clients are seen, heard and accepted, a safe space is created where self-esteem and confidence are enhanced. Virtual sessions provide a calming therapeutic atmosphere as clients meet from the comfort of their own homes.
Many topics are discussed in sessions including anxiety, depression, stress, relationships and trauma. Tzippy partners with clients to help them reach their goals, such as enhancing self knowledge, improving interpersonal skills and emotional healing. Tzippy uses psychodynamic and trauma-informed approaches to address relational trauma and complex PTSD. She draws from various therapeutic modalities including, but not limited to:
Internal Family Systems (IFS)
Somatic Interventions
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
Brainspotting
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
Tzippy’s work is enhanced through professional development by being an active member of both Psychology Today and NEFESH, The International Network of Orthodox Mental Health Professionals. She regularly attends conferences which deepen her knowledge, keep her current with developments in the field and connect her with colleagues, . Tzippy greatly values the insight, support, and collaborative learning that emerges from engaging with other dedicated professionals. Therefore, she participates in both individual and group supervision.
